  • Independent Contractor

    VAEL often hires independent contractor/ freelance professionals who are self-employed individuals or business entities that provide a product or service in exchange for monetary compensation based on a verbal or written contract.

    Independent contractors are also known as consultants, handymen, freelancers, or 1099 contractors. They are not employees of the VAEL Properties team.

    1. Name, contact information & location- specify the region your company operates in.

    2. Describe the Service- accurate description of the contract services providing a detailed description of the expectations.

    3. Outline compensation- billing rate, retainer or deposit, frequency of payments, late payment penalties, and billing details.

    4. State the agreement’s terms and conditions such as termination notice and confidentiality guidelines.

    5. Include any additional clauses such as indemnity, return of property, liability, and legal expenses.

    As the Social Media Manager, you will perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences; design and implement social media strategies to align with business goals; manage the representation of the company across social channels; respond to comments; compile campaigns; create content, and enhance the online presence.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Set specific objectives and report on ROI.

    2. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily.

    3. Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.

    4. Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency.

    5. Communicate with followers.

    6. Oversee social media accounts’ handles.

    7. Implement new features for brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.

    8. Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.

    Skills:

    1. Proven work experience as a social media manager.
